Which PC Build Should I Choose!?

I’m looking for a desktop PC that can handle UE4 and 3d modeling applications like Blender. My budget is in the $800-900 range but I might go as high as $1000 for the desktop.

The Cyberpower or iBuypower PCs seemed like a good fit for my needs, but I’ve read mixed reviews about them, so I’m thinking it might be better to build my own (which I have never done before).

I checked out PC Gamer’s guide to a low budget build Budget gaming PC build guide: create a cheap gaming PC | PC Gamer

Then I made my own part list based on their build but with some better parts http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

But I also found a cheaper part list Best Budget Gaming PC Builds for 2023 (Powerful & Cheap)

Which build do you guys and/or gals recommend? Or is it better for a noob like me to start out with Cyberpower?

Honestly, if you were to go with either CyberPowerPC or iBuyPower, I’d go with iBuyPower. I currently have one of their systems and I have no complaints about the build quality or anything about it, really.

However, you can get more power for the money by building your own. I’ll see if I can put together my recommended parts list, while keeping your budget in mind.

Edit: 's a good build for roughly $900: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kRQwr7

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if it was good idea to use a bronze PSU for an i5/i7 and GTX 970. I was also a little lost on what cooling systems to use.

He did a fine job, I’d only splurge on possibly a better PSU (this one is perfectly fine and should have no problems, but you could get a better grade if you wanted) or replace that CD Writer with another 8GB of RAM and buy an OS license from microsoft (that way you get a license key). You’ll use a USB Thumbstick to install if you don’t get the CD Drive, so you’ll need access to another PC that can create a boot media in order to not need the disk drive. Or you can buy this.

I’d go with more RAM if you don’t need the drive, and if you buy a full license you can transfer it- OEM will be tied to the one PC and only that PC.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been reading up on how to create a boot usb but I can’t download rufus (the recommended software needed to write the iso file to the USB) because I only have a Macbook.

For a Dev box I would go with at least 32 gigs worth of ram. You can get away with 16 IF you plan to only run UE4 but you will find it lacking if you also need to run power hungry apps at the same time. I also found that extra ram helps out with the lighting rebuild. Would not always speed it up but you could work on something else at the same time the lighting is being rebuild.

Last week I buy $500 Gaming PC From radixreviews blog, My friend recommend me this.
