Which Organization Type to choose?

Hey support,

afaik you need to set your organization type in the Dev Portal. Either you are a “Individual” or an “Enterprise” organization. “Individual” is set to be the default one once you register. You can always choose to switch to “Enterprise”, but if you choose to do that, you cant go back to “Individual”. Now the thing is, that an “Individual” organization does not have access to the Epic Games Store publishing tools, only “Enterprise” orgs can do that. So if I want to setup a store page and release the created products/games on their stores, I do have to switch to “Enterprise”, right?

I am not sure what the point of “Individual” is then if I cant setup my product/game and the respective page for it?

Hi @BehindTheStone! You’re correct in that you will need to switch to “Enterprise” as your organization type. We default to “Individual” since many people create an organization simply to access EOS for their game and may not plan on bringing it to our platform.
