Which Laptop would be compatabile for Unreal Engine

Hello there, this is my first time using Unreal Engine. However, I don’t know if my laptop could handle this.

It’s a HP Pavilion Laptop:

|Processor|AMD A10-9620P RADEON R5, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C+6G 2.50 GHz|
|Installed RAM|8.00 GB (6.96 GB usable)|

So, which verison would be nice for the laptop?

Hey, @db1993! Welcome to the forums.

I would absolutely NOT recommend using UE5. Maybe try version 4.27!

Hey there! Welcome to the forums.
I’d recommend going with Unreal Engine 4.27. It’s a solid version that works well on most machines.

Given the specs of your laptop , it might struggle a bit with Unreal Engine 5. You could try using Unreal Engine 5 but disable some fancy stuff like Lumen and set the graphics settings to medium. However, to play it safe, I think sticking with Unreal Engine 4.27 and using medium settings in the engine would be your best bet.

Remember, it’s always better to have a smooth experience, especially when you’re just starting out. Good luck with your Unreal Engine journey!
