Not being much of an artist, I’ve been using Mixamo for a while now. Now that Adobe has it, I’ve been looking for alternatives. So far some of the choices are: Poser, Daz, and Reallusion.
And maybe others I don’t know about.
All reviews I’ve seen seem to be subjective. Some love one over the other. I just need a few questions answered.

Price doesn’t bother me much, if it’s reasonable. I just want to get one program that would last me for a while without having to buy more stuff.
Make Human is a really great place to start when it comes to making high quality human models. It can really save you a lot of time and effort. I mean sure you can build a human body from scratch, but like really why re-invent the wheel? Make Human is a great user friendly software too!
Poser is good since the license is cheap… Poser Game Dev
Daz3D is good due to the amount of textures / characters… but it’s very expensive (500 for Daz, 500 for each licenser, not all products can be licensed)
Reallusion (iClone) is $600 for iclone, 3dx, and the export license… but it 2 (purchaseable) plugins going for it… CrazyTalk ($99) and Mocap device ($99)
The Mixamo rigs are not set up for the new UE4 rigs… so that is out of the window, as the only benefit of Mixamo was the animations.
