Where to ask questions regarding the software?

Hi
If i have bugs and questions, where would I post? I assumed it would be here but i am not sure.

Either way, I am following this tutorial series which is cool but I got an issue.
I am on video 11- adding props at this link; ?v=g7CTPS-5JsE&list=PLZlv_N0_O1gaCL2XjKluO7N2Pmmw9pvhE&index=23

If I follow the steps then my level does not get dark as his is when he deletes all the lights. I checked the setting on my light and we seem to have similar values on properties but when he rotates his light the environment change a lot while mine does not (even though when I change the color to like blue, the room gets a blue hue). He also gets a pitch black thing after he eleted all the lights but I truly dont. Also his world looks a lot nicer which might be a settings thing but I did go ahead and change the res to 1920x1200 when I did press PLAY but even though I do that, the world looks pretty crapy.

Also have questions regarding how to get a high res screenshot as it also looks kinda **** no matter my multiplier.

If someone would be kind to direct me to where I can ask questions as this, that would be great!

You can ask all those questions here in the forum -> we are always here to help

  1. how does it look like when you delete all lights? how does your light setup looks like? do you use the same light mobility?
  2. what exactly is your problem with the high res screenshot?

The forum is not the wrong place, but staff is very quick in responding over at the AnswersHub, and there is a category for submitting bugs.

I believe I mostly solved problem 1.

  1. The lights are still there! I guess it was just that the tutorial never explained about the build-part, when I did that I realized that it changed the entire environment and the light. If you are new to an editor and if you make changes and then press play then you assume that that is also true with the lights but apparently that requires a “Build”.

  2. It does not look high res at all. It looks like ****. I tried all multipliers and it is quite pixly. It is as pixly or poorlooking as the preview-look I have.

  1. Yep, you always have to build the lights when you use static lights. With dynamic lights you dont have to do that
  2. make sure that you have set the quality settings to epic -> settings - scalability - epic

THanks a lot!! Very kind!
