There are many things I liked about the original marketplace. One of those is there was a new product area that showed new items that were almost daily added to the marketplace. Now with FAB it seems like we’ve been thrown backwards in time by about 16 years or so with a bare minimum web site that is nearly impossible to properly navigate with NO OPTIONS to see what is new (unless I’m blind)…among the 100’s of other missing features that everyone is asking for.
Please Epic, listen to your customers…there is so much missing from FAB that it’s literally not worth the time to even look for anything in it’s present state. I use to purchase items multiple times a month on the marketplace…now I won’t even bother to purchase anything due to how bad FAB is.
Please point me to the new product area…if it exists!!! If not, the add it.
I feel your pain about the inadequacies of Fab. However, what I do to browse through new products is click “Unreal” (under Platforms), then under “UE Samples”, I click on “Sort by:” and choose “Newest”.
Hoping this helps, and if it doesn’t and I completely misunderstood your question, my apologies and have a nice day!
The marketplace had a section for all new products from ‘all content creators’…not UE samples. There would be new items listed from all creators that were made available. This is no longer there in Fab. You literally have to manually look for anything and maybe you will just happen to see something you’re interested in that’s new.
In the many other threads on the feedback & requests section, lots of content creators are complaining of lack of sales since Fab started due to nobody knowing how to realistically find things.
As already said, Fab is a complete step backwards…and until it gets to where the marketplace was, I will not be doing anymore purchasing (other than things I’m already aware of and waiting for) due to not being able to realistically find things.
Thanks for the suggestion! indeed this was something we wanted to implement as soon as possible… This section will be updated weekly and there are more efforts en route to highlight newest and greatest on Fab.
