I have downloaded 6gb unreal engine via Epic Games Launcher. Now, I did a fresh OSX installation but I don’t know where is my unreal.app in my Time Machine backup so I can copy, paste it and don’t need to re-download all of it.

I have found the path
In Mac the path to installation of every unreal engine stuff is***/Users/Shared/UnrealEngine/4.9/Engine/Binaries***

Somehow on my Mac it is under /Users/Shared/Epic Games/UE_4.18

It’s not work, this script can not geneated xcode project files at all

on mine too, maybe it’s that the m1 macbooks are the ones that got it in this directory

Responding to an old topic in case others stumble here.
On my M1 MacBook, it looks to be under my user directory rather than Shared.
/Users/my.name/Library/Application Support/Epic/UnrealEngine
