Where is the User interface for creating widget in UE5.5

Hey Epic team, Don’t get me wrong you guys are doing an amazing job but why you guys love making simle ish complicated? Where in the heck is the user interface located in UE5.5? i search everywhere and i can’t find it. Keep simple stuff SIMPLE PLEASE.

Could you clarify what you mean?

yes, When you right click to inside a folder to create and actor or material or whatever the User-interface tab that allows you to create widget is no longer there. i’m trying to create some widget for my game but I can’t find the User-interface tab to create widegt

When I right click I get this:

When I click on that I get this:

This used to be in the right click menu but now it seems it is one extra window/click away for some reason.

Is this what you were looking for?

Maybe im doing something wrong because i’m not seen it.

Are you running very low resolution?

  • you gotta scroll down
  • or right click and just start typing - it activates search. It works in a lot of context menus.

  • or find it from basic asset → Blueprint Actor:

yeah, low resolution, definitely. If you look at the screenshot you posted you an just barely make out that User Interface Is being shown but it is only 1 pixel high. If you know to look for it and you look at the pixels you can see "Yes, that pixel and that pixel is for the U and that one is for the f… lol.

Definitely low resolution issue. Perhaps you have your Windows setup to scale the interface so you are running at the resolution you are used to but then Windows scales it and thus gives you less screen space?

At least Everynone gave you a workaround in case you can’t change the resolution for some reason.

Mystery solved!
