Hey folks. Mislaid my original DVD of Gears of War for Windows, picked up the Ultimate Edition on a Windows Store sale. I can’t seem to find the editor (or files!) on my computer and I’m wondering if anybody knows how to set up the editor for that edition - or if there’s somewhere I can download the appropriate editor and set things up?
If it’s installed on your drive where Windows is installed, here is directory of the game: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.DeltaPC_1.10.0.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.
By clicking on this folder, you will see the file called ‘WarGameUE’ that is the .exe file to launch the game. Just like the Original Gears of War PC from Epic, you create a shortcut, and put the directory, then put a '' and type ‘WarGameUE’ after that go on to the properties of the shortcut, by clicking Alt + Enter, or Right Mouse Click where it opens Menu Panel, find ‘Properties’ and you will see the ‘Target’ of the file.
By doing that, when you open it, it will show you four errors. It won’t open editor, so someone has to compute this, and upload it to Internet Archive.
