Pretty straightforward issue I think. I have a Mixamo animation that plays via a PlayMontage node. It’s a roll animation that causes the mesh to move forward then snap back into position.
This behavior is fine. I know most people want to use root motion for this kind of thing but that’s not the issue here.
I just want to know what the position of the mesh is while the animation is playing. However when I use a Print String node connected to the Mesh->Get World Location node, the position data doesn’t change even though I can see the mesh clearly moving forward.
I’m guessing this position data is elsewhere but I just don’t know where. Does anybody know where I can find this?
