Around a year ago, when Fab was introduced, I clicked the button “get all assets” of Quixel Megascans. But they are NOT showing as “purchased” in my library. Basically – I cannot use them! I can still download them via older Megascans site. But where are they on Fab???

This issue has popped up around the community from time to time, as Marketplace and Quixel were fully migrated to FAB around the end of 2024. Any assets you own should have been transferred, though.
You can get assistance by accesing the following link, then use the support request option to open a ticket.

The Megascans library on Quixel.com is separate from the Megascans library on Fab.com.
Here is an FAQ that explains the types of acquired or claimed assets that will transfer from Quixel.com to Fab.com.

I do understand that Fab library is separate from Quixel library. But I claimed both (!) of them. And when I claimed on Fab – it was “saved in library” (green circle checkmsrk). But when I go to “My library” either via Epic launcher or on Web – it shows me the price to buy instead of download… Which link in that case I should use? And by the way – what will happen with legacy Quixel?

@SlyCreature97 When you click on Browse Megascans card in your Library, it links to the Quixel profile which displays all Megascan assets and not just the ones you had claimed. Recently, Quixel published several new assets which are appearing on top. If you apply the Price filter to “free’“ or Sort by Oldest, you should see the assets that you had claimed.
Same logged into my account today and all my Quixel assets are no longer in my library! But I can still access them on the old website…. Pleased to hear its not just me having this issue!

Still – tell your UX/UI team that it is highly confusing – why the heck the unpurchased (to buy) assets wuold be shown in “My owned library”???
Assets “to buy” should be shown in marketplace tab, and ONLY “owned” assets should be shown in “My library”. Otherwise it’s really confusing

Something still doen’t add up. I have 18,000 products purchased on the old website.
Using the “free” filter, it only shows 2.1k ….. This filtering isn’t showing everything I own

If you are only seeing the 2.1k free assets, it’s likely that you did not claim the legacy Megascans library on Fab.

You really have to login to Fab in a web browser to access all 18k in the Fab tab in the Epic launcher.
Thanks for clarifying all that but it I have to agree, that was really complicated compared to Quixel Bridge in the Editor where we could just import everything with a few clicks.
i also have the same and i claimed all assets on fab itself
So, I am seeing the same thing I think. I had manually went through about 200 assets from the megascans during the giveaway period, and added these into my library manually. Then I was informed about the “Claim All” option. I then made sure to click this in both locations (Fab, and Quixel Megascans) And for a while I did see them in my Fab “My Library” however, now when I log in, I only see the ones which I manually added to my library, prior to clicking the “Claim All” buttons. If I go to the Legacy site on quixel.com I can see all of them.
While on Fab.com, if I switch the filter to “Free” I still only see about the 200 or so, which I manually saved to my library.
I had a feeling this sort of thing was going to happen. I wish I had enough disk space to just download everything, so that I never need to worry about something I supposedly own or have a license to, just going away, or becoming inaccessible.
I see this is marked as solved, but it isn’t. Not all of the claimed assets are showing as in my library on Fab.

If you had claimed the library on Fab, you should be able to see the “Browser Quixel Megascans” option in your “My library” section. You can use this option to browse all your claimed library.
