They are taking up too much space on my primary HD…some of them are large.
I am talking about the ones that are used to add to projects, obviously I can add to a project some store content, where that project is created and stored on another drive, and save space that way.
But where is the original source of the content stored? Can I change some setting to use a different drive to store it?
I don’t know if it’s possible to change the location, but you can delete it from the launcher under your vault. If you have something downloaded it should show you the storage it’s taking up underneath the product title. Click the arrow underneath and remove local content.
As for the file location, check under C:\ProgramFiles\EpicGames\Launcher\VaultCache. You could alternatively just wipe everything out from there. =)
In the Epic launcher click settings and then click on edit vault cache location.
