I have practicing and building a inventory system and a note-keeper system using widgets. Both of them works but there is a strange problem. Whenever i remove my widget from the screen my mouse cursor pops up. It stays within the gamescreen. I need to click mouse to get back playing properly. I tried many different ocasions and everytime i remove widget from the screen the mouse cursor just pops up. I don’t know what is the problem? Ideas?
This is a known issue with 4.4 and has since been resolved internally. If you want to go ahead and get the fix, it is in the github builds. The fix will be implemented in the binary version of the editor in an upcoming release.
I’m using the Engine version 4.6.1 and I have the same problem. How can I fix it?
I was unable to reproduce this issue in 4.6. I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what problem it is that you are experiencing.
- Can you reproduce this in a clean project?
- If so, can you provide a detail set of steps to reproduce this issue?
- Could you provide a screen shot of the blueprints that may be involved with this problem?
- Have you tried using the "Set show mouse cursor " node and checking it to false after your widget is removed from the screen?
