When will the search work better? Like it used to for unreal marketplace.
Current in order to find anything in the fab marketplace I have to google search it. Searching is the Fab search bar does not bring me any of the results I need.

Also I was just trying to find Volumetric Cloud VDB packs that I could previous find instantly on the unreal marketplace, Now I can only find a couple garbage packs on FAB.
Yes it is painful, you are totally right.
Search is the first prio on our roadmap, and we have a number of improvements working already internally. We are hoping to put these online as soon we can.
What we currently improved and are testing before we deploy:
–Partial match should have lower weight than exact match. Eg searching for rock should get you actual rocks as opposed to rocking chairs.
–You can use " " for exact match, ex. handling cases like “.bat extension”
–Overall improved weighing of results, aiming to have higher quality results take priority if there are competing results
–Working on improving the accuracy of multiple word search queries, in particular if some of these words are used as tags on products - ex. handgun blueprint should surface blueprint’s of handguns.
Still working on and expected to be part of a second wave of search improvements:
–Search Suggestions including suggesting creator names, and tags as you type
–The aforementioned rock example needs to also take the plural/singular versions of the search query into account
–Further quality weighing improvements
Search will need many iterations, even after we put the above online we don’t expect it to be perfect, but it should at least be a good step forward.
