When retargeting IK_hand_gun has offset

Hello everyone.

I am not sure why but when retargeting the IK_hand_gun has slight offset.

The retarget positions are the same. I tried to play with Translation Retargeting, I tried to use every mode there is. (Animation, Animation Scaled, Skeleton, etc.)

Everything is great, but this IK_hand_gun is driving me insane. I beg you for help because I do not know what else I could try.

If all else fails, you can always adjust the position manually on the retargeted animation itself. This won’t fix the source of your problem, but it’ll treat the symptom.

Probably has to do with the original positions of the bones.

For IK you want to keep them IDENTICAL thought out all skeletons. That way the retargeting always matches.

The animation (if it animates the IK) needs to have the bone retarget settings set to animation scaled or any animation variation.

Thank you very much, yea I already figured out that it has to be the EXCATLY the same as the original position. I did not know about that.

I am already working on re-doing the character itself. Thank you very much for the response :slight_smile:

I tried a lot of things, I have just too many animations and I am not going to be adjusting all of them, that is just really a too much work :smiley:
