When opening uproject the following error pops up, what to do? I just downloaded UE today, so the question may seem quite silly to some people.

That’s not an error. Just a popup to let you know that the Input Classes (what you have circled in red) have been updated to use the new Enhanced Input system.
Pre-existing inputs set up with the old system should still work, but if you’re having troubles you can change those back to the older version.
The very first screen in the bottom right corner says to upgrade to the new version of input, which I did. I just don’t understand why my scene isn’t opening. I’m opening it from 7-zip, could that have any effect?
You’ll want to fully-extract the entire .zip archive.
Try pressing CTRL + Spacebar to open the Content Browser and see if it recognizes your content.
