When im close to my meshes they are too dark

I was making a little test scene with some free Assets from the unreal demos. But when im close to the Meshes they are way to dark. When I look at them from far away they look normal.

im gonna bet that its in shadows, can’t really see much with such a low res image, but it looks like your tree trunks are all the same brightness, just the grass gets darker from the tree’s shadow. when you move the camera around in the view port, does the dark area follow you in a circle?

This might be being caused by a short shadow cascade distance set on your directional light. I would check there first!
