when I replace the stage the character falls down.

the new static mesh probably has different dimensions and the character feet are inside the ground which will mess with he physics. Also, maybe you don’t have the physic colliders on the new mesh. Move the mouse over the mesh in the content and read the pop info, see if it has colliders or not.
switch the viewport to a side view and check if is indeed this the issue, just get close to the character feet and the capsule
to fix it, you could either make sure the mesh platform have the proper dimensions and colliders. if it does, rise the character up then hit the END key on the keyboard to make it fall on the floor correctly
