When I opened my file this morning I found the terrain had completely shifted on its own while the rest of the painted populated plants and grasses stayed in place. When I closed and saved my file the day before everything was in its right place.

This is the second time I had the same problem. The first time it was about terrain height that got screwed up and I was able to solve it by moving the terrain back to its correct elevation, even though the populated greenery associated with it did not sit on the terrain. What is going on and how can I revert it back to the previous configuration? I will link a screenshot of the situation. I just had the same thing happen and moving it back to the correct height doesn’t work because all the painted foliage is much lower (the correct height) and that relationship stays the same when you move the terrain. Did you ever find a solution or the cause? I am on an iMac.

I had the same thing. Not very pleased. I moved the terrain back in place, but it just reverts when the file is closed and reopened. I moved the terrain originally since the project is for a lakeshore with 300' drop to the water so I wanted house on the edge of the terrain and used a imported slope.
