When I open UE5 it opens correctly but when I interact with something or create a blueprint for example it closes out of nowhere, it doesn’t leave any message it just closes
HELP PLS
Hey there @Proasoalex! Welcome to the community! Usually there’d be some form of crash message, however if another process is calling for Unreal to end it would not produce an error.
May I know your specs and UE version?
Do other projects fail or just one?
You may need to validate the install in the epic launcher, or possibly reinstall altogether.
Hey!, ok
- Ryzen 5 Pro 4440g, 16gm Ram, Integrated Radeon Graphics, UE5 5.0.3
- All the proyects.
Hmmm, that’s odd! Let’s see if the logs from your short time before the silent crashes offer any hints. Under your project folder UE5 Projects\Project\Saved\Logs
the first log file named after your project. Then we’ll do a check to see if the crash reporter is failing to launch but still getting the data. This one is located under UE5 Projects\Project\Saved\Crashes
and it’s file inside will have the same name.
I have already reviewed it and it seems that the error is in general, that is, in any project I try to interact with something and it crashes, without showing anything, only the screen freezes for a while and then closes, I am using UE5 5.3.2, UE4 does work well for me
Are you on a laptop?
Can you post a video of you opening a FRESH/EMPTY project and then moving an object?
Hey there @Proasoalex! If you are using a laptop (which I’m guessing because integrated graphics), this actually could be related!
