When I click on play in the blueprint menu (idk how you call it) it doesn't start I only get an orange border around the screen but no gameplay

When I click on play in the blueprint menu (idk how you call it) it doesn’t start I only get an orange border around the screen but no gameplay. I am new btw

You are probably inside a blueprint (debugging). You can either alt + tab to the main editor view where the game is or chose Play In Editor (PIE)

Check the Play Modes section.

You can also check Edit => Project Settings => Maps and Modes: to see if you have an editor and game level chosen.
