When i start a project, nothing shown but project browser .It should enter the unreal editor, but it seems that project browser restart repeatedly
Hey there @Alecosia! Welcome to the community! A couple of questions!
May I know your computer specs?
Are you launching from the Epic Games Launcher or the Exe directly?
It just loops back to the open project window?
i7-12700k, 32gb RAM, RTX3060, Win11 system. I launched it from epic launcher, it keeps looping back to project browser. But only 5gb space left in my system disk, did that matter? Thanks!
Is it this project browser?
If so, do you have these buttons on the left? You’d click the games box and it should show you the possible games projects you can start from this project view.
Yep.I launched my Unreal Engine from epic launcher. And I’ve seen these buttons on the left in the project browser. I click the games box and create a new third person game project and when it loading to 95%, it will loop back to project browser and can not enter the editor. No matter I restart the new project from document or project browser, it will still return to the project browser. And no error message display at the same time.
I try to use a virtual machine create a win10 system, and it can enter the editor. But in the host machine it can not enter.
That is… entirely odd. I’ve never seen that occur. Could you use a command line argument -log when launching the EXE for the engine directly? I’d like to see if it outputs an error or reason for looping back of it the engine log doesn’t even recognize it.
