When closing assets/tabs, is there a setting that asks you if you're sure you want to close?

Hello!

I’m wondering if there’s a setting somewhere in the editor or project settings, that when enabled prompts you if you’re sure you want to close any tabs before they actually close.

It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then I’ll accidentally close out of all my blueprints because of a stupid misclick on my part. Not blaming Unreal at all for that, but I can’t imagine I’m the only one who’s accidentally done that before.

If there is a “hey are you sure you wanna close this?”-esque feature, I’d really appreciate knowing!

Thank you

i think it asks you if it’s modified and unsaved.

otherwise you have the “collections” in the content browser. you can keep your working assets there and open all together if needed.

no prob, i hope it helps. collections are super cool.

they’re like bookmarks or hyperlinks.

there are a few different types:

  • local (only for you)
  • shared (for the whole team, very useful)
  • maybe one more

and protip, you can nest them iirc.

and you can just drag assets to the collections, but also use the context menu.
