I saw a post about this from 2021 that was supposed to be receiving a fix, but this problem still persists in 2023.1.1. I have car density set to 5% with a speed of 70kmh/45mph and the cars insist on being less than a meter away from each other's bumpers. I'm doing a rendering of a 12 mile roadway and the client keeps asking me why the cars are trying to rear-end each other and asking me to fix it. There is no fix. Any idea on when this problem will be tackled?
I started with a density of 35%, reduced it to 20% to try and solve it, and am now down to 5% density and they still tailgate each other. There will be two cars every hundred meters and both cars will be nearly touching each other.
