When buying asset packs are LODs a deciding factor?

I have recently finished the creation of a high quality Medieval weapon pack and was wondering how many people find a lack of LODs a deal breaker. The pack in question includes 3 weapons (no more than 2 of any one type, ie; 2 hammers, 2 swords, 2 spears ect.), 5 shields and 4 custom racks for all. I want to put it up for an affordable and impulse-buying-worthy $20. Should I do the LODs and charge a little more or forget about them?
Here is a very short video of my disc weapon for an Idea of the quality of my work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKp3rqEtXXg

If someone if advanced enough to be using a large number of these objects on screen, at various distances ( a use case for LODs ), then they can handle making the LODs. It only takes a few minutes.

But because it only takes a few minutes, you could do it too

Something I might add from a buyer point of view, is that potential purchasers don’t judge a pack based on how much time they think you spent on it. More on whether the pack is worth X, full stop.

Hope that helps.

Using blender to unreal engine I ran into many issues with my decimated LODs and it has cost me at least two days of frustration. Every time that I import the LODs (on at least one mesh) I end up with nearly zero bi-normals and nearly zero tangents while my LOD0 imports without errors… It is most likely something simple that I keep forgetting lol. I honestly don’t mind figuring it out and adding them but would rather leave that as an update if it isn’t really super important to most buyers.

You can make the LODs very easily in engine.

Can you point me to solid info on this process? I was under the impression that I needed to import already created LODs…

It’s really just choosing what distance you want the changes to occur at.

OMG! I have been looking this right in the face for days and didn’t realize that the LOD Group actually created a full LOD set for you. That is super simple. Now I feel a bit sheepish… Thank you for this link you are awesome! I have one final question though… After the LODs are created and set properly are they exportable in an asset pack so that my buyers will have the LODs as I have set them up?
