Hey everyone, I’m attempting to set up a car with Physics Assets. I’m exporting my model from Blender. When I drag the mesh into the scene, it is the correct size. However, when I open it’s PhysicsAssets and try to add a sphere body to the wheels, I can’t scale them to be small enough. They are almost twice the size of my wheels at their smallest. Anyone have any ideas? I’ve also imported the default AdvancedVehicle into Blender and it is comparable in size to my car, so I don’t think scaling in Blender is the issue…though I’ve been known to be wrong…a lot. Thanks!
For anyone needing this, I figured out a workaround. In Blender, scale your model up in the scene x100, then in the export settings, scale by .01. This is really dumb thing, but it works with no harmful side-effects that I’ve found yet…except being annoying.
Yikes no.. never this.
Just pick the capsule or whatever physics shape and go to the details panel in the physics asset.. Primitives, manually type in the numbers.. you can only work with small skeletal meshes this way. For small things you cannot use the gimble tools in the world view in the physics asset to get that small.
This is the real answer. It’s not a work around, it’s just how it works. The ‘Solved’ solution on this question, is wrong.
