What's the point of cable length if one needs constraints

Hello,

concerning cables components

  • enabling stiffness does not do anything

  • if the cable is attached to a fix object and a physical object in a slope, the cables stretches to no end

I found out I had to create a physical constraint to limit this

so whats the point of stiffness and cable length ?

Length determines when the cable starts hanging down.

Stiffness determines how bendy the cable is. E.g. if you put both ends together, without stiffness it will fold completely, with stiffness it will form a loop.
