Whats the best way to retarget Animations with different Skeletons?

Im currently working on a Zelda game. For the game I want to use the original Animations of the game Zelda Ocarina of time, I already managed to rip them off but now I have trouble to retarget the original animations to my new Link model(Im using Young Links model from Hyrule Warriors). I was wondering if anybody has a idea what would be the best way to retarget those animations?

Unless you want to use external software like Maya’s HumanIK

The * best * really best way is using MotionBuilder, but that thing is expensive :slight_smile:

I don’t know whether it’s ok to ask here, but how do you rip that? do you use umodel or quickbms?
