We run twin motion in our architectural design office ( mac computers with a shared drive) and have run into issues where if another machine opens a render that was done on different machine a dialog box comes up with all the missing textures and the render scene will open but the original textures will be missing from the scene.
In short what is the correct way to set up twin motion in an office setting where if you a using multiple machines so the textures will remain on the model? (no matter which computer you open it up on)
In Twinmotion's Edit menu, you should see an option called Resource Collector. Select this to specify a file path where you want to store your textures. Once you set the path and choose Collect, a folder called maps should be created where all of your textures are stored and Twinmotion will search this location for your textures, ensuring they don't get lost and will be detected when opening it on another computer. For ease of access, it usually best to keep the option to collect your .tm file enabled so that all project files are stored in the same location.
