After a long time of waiting I finally bought Day Z Standalone. Lets see if it’s as good as everybody says

I’ve been playing DayZ SA, And mainly with my clan we’ve been playing Arma 3 mod Breaking point. sasklan
I myself am a sort of STORY addict, so I usually find myself deep in:
Fallout New (Moderately modded, would do more but it likes to crash)
Skyrim (Super heavily modded, its not a good experience if ur mod count is under 200)
X2: Albion Prelude (Moded. Been a while since I played it and cant get back into it at all, but literally the best space game I’ve ever played, even with all the minor annoyances. R.I.P. X-series with the crud that was released as X3. You shall forever reside in my heart).
Really though, when it comes down to it, getting into developing is making all games seem worse and worse, especially now that games are all going for multiplayer aspects in order to provide ‘story’ and ‘difficulty’. Sad state of affairs (**** YOU MOBAS).
What I truly want is to just have the base framework for a game like Fallout NV or Skyrim and use that as my personal playground to make stuff in. WHY OH WHY HAVE YOU DESTROYED MY WORLD, UE4, MY BEAUTIFULLY AND NOW VERY APPARENTLY VERY FLAWED VIDEO GAME LOVING WORLD!!

X3 came out before Albion Prelude, IIRC Albion Prelude is a standalone expansion to X3 that came out years after the original.
Oops, I meant X3 Albion Prelude and was being disappointed in X Rebirth. (Had to look at my steam list to get the names right, dur D:)

Ah, I haven’t tried X: Rebirth, nor X3 Albion Prelude to be honest, last I played was X3: Terran Conflict. Which I thought was pretty fun.
Speaking of Rebirth though, I am quite excited for The Binding of Isaac Rebirth.
Almost all of my gaming time at point though is Spelunky. That is a seriously good game, and I’d advise anyone who develops games to look into that, and see just how consistent everything in that game is.
Does sitting in the secret sniper nest on Konosis ] popping head shots against AI in UT99 count as playing?
Oh, don’t really play much, rig is too old, games are too predictable.
Still think fondly of Infiltration and RavenShield tho.

I used to play the X-series of game but I gave up on them because my computer never ran them very well.
I’m playing Destiny, of course.
Archeage, Lost Planet 2.
IMO LP2 is best in series. Not to mention there is not thar many TPP shooters to begin with.

me to but part of me likes it and part of me hates it, there were some very bad choices made during development.
DICE (LA) has rekindled my love of Battlefield 4 with the recent patch.
Tropico 4 - when i drink rum, mojito or cuba libre
Skyrim - when i got ale
Metro - when i have taste for vodka
Planetary annihilation - when i feel like strategos,
And just recently started that new mordor game, but i am not yet sure if i play it much.
I cant believe im the only one here will write Team fortress 2 as favorite game for now. Love the team work with friends, very fun game, when i have time - i play it hehe
Been on Steam lately playing Baldur’s Gate, Banished, along with a few others. SWTOR calls me back for dailies once in a while. Decided yesterday to load up TESO. Played during Beta but I’m just now getting into that one.
Back on that Heroes of Might and Magic 6 kick. Seven is coming out early next year, gotta clear out the unfinished campaigns hahaha. Its cutting into my dev time a bit to much though :-/
