whatever material I put on the static mesh, it doesn't work

Hi, I’m new and I don’t know if I’m asking the question in the right topic. anyway, I furnished the scene, put lights and everything … everything works … then I imported an object from Maya with many UDIMs … following tutorial on Youtube I learned how to simplify the import of textures by enabling virtual textures on the settings of the project … after resetting unreal (you are asked to do it for the compilation of the shaders) all the imported objects (not from quixelbridge, but those I had in the PC) no longer show their material and appear in gray color (checker) … the materials work great on any other static mesh, but not on those imported by me (and before they worked perfectly) … i also tried with other materials but nothing to do …
I also tried to restore the project settings to the origins, but the static meshes remain like this …
can someone please help me?

i saw that if i reimport the objects with right click on the static mesh, reimport, nothing changes … but if i reimport the objects in a new static mesh then the materials work on it.
I ask for help because I have dozens of objects on stage and it would take too much time to solve manually

Thanks in advance!

Hey there @CJayI! Welcome to the community! Sounds like during original import the materials weren’t imported correctly the first time. If the reimport fixes it, that might be the best method here. The only way I could replicate the issue is by not importing any of the materials or textures.
