What would be the best way for the main character to grab a pawn character?

I have been watching a bunch of tutorials on YouTube for picking up static meshes into a socket but what about for an item that isn’t a static mesh with its own animations. What would be the best way to go about that?

There is a node called “attach component to component” which could work.
Or you have “attach actor to actor”.

That sound like it would be perfect. I’ll start testing that out now. Thanks!

You can Make a Socket in your characters hand and when you click on something just attach to socket by name
