Epic uses Perforce. So you’ll find it works nicely with the Editor. To my knowledge it is free to use for a maximum of 5 users. (You’d need to host server or use a hosting service)
I wouldn’t consider it “easy to setup” but I think it can be considered the ‘Industry Standard’, so banging your head against the keyboard until it’s working could be worth the pain.
