When making a video in TM, the video starts at full camera speed.
This is disadvantageous when making a video, so it is necessary that the video first speeds up from 0 (adjustable) and then the end of the video slows down in the same way.
This should be the default setting, as it is natural in Lumion:
After render animated objects are in other position!
It's due to the dynamic generation of these paths that you won't be able to consistently control when and where the characters or vehicles generated will appear at any given time when working with media.
This is definitely a problem.

There should definitely be such a feature when we see exactly what will actually happen in the rendered image, or video clip
If I want to change some settings (layer, weather etc) afterwards, I have to go through all the keyframes one by one, change and update them.

There should be a solution to apply the changes to all videos or just the entire clip (all keyframes in the selected clip) including light, weather and layer settings.....
Thank you for providing this great input and please make sure to also submit your comments and ideas to the road map and include the link to this discussions and/or other applicable ones to make it easier to find the relevant information and images you are sharing.
Yes, this enhancement is essential. Inevitably, users would then want granular control such as "rate of acceleration", etc - but a simple "Ease in" over the first few seconds would be a good start.
I guess this is already possible when using assembled "Parts" in a Video (each with it's own duration to simulate speed), but it's cumbersome having to do a copy of the preceding end frame at the beginning of each Part. Your suggestion would be an improvement, although some thought needs to be given to the transition speed between each keyframe.
Agree with this - and related to it the evergreen problem of Delay not working; https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/question/0D52L00003wE0mfSAC/how-do-i-tell-an-animated-object-when-to-travel-on-its-custom-path?language=en_US
Yes - although Lighting and Weather are controllable on a Part by Part basis with the Settings button at the bottom of each Part. "Layers" (or better described as Container visibility in TwinMotion) is not as easy to control yet. I agree that it should be possible to make the contents of a container visible in some global way, rather than switching them on/off for each keyframe in a Video.
The part function can actually be used when 2 keyframes are not connected. When there is a cut and the clip continues from another place. It doesn't really work when used for speed control.
But your question about the speed transition between each keyframe is completely valid and I really like it.
What if we could specify the speed of the camera instead of the length of the frames?
Between the two keyframes, we could set the mode of speed transitions:
Something like that, yes. I'm not sure specifying speed in km/h is useful though - we've become so used to working in duration (s). For instance, a pan shot in an interior scene is actually 0km/h but I'd want to specify how many seconds it takes to pan from view A to view B.
I've created a simple exterior video with a camera moving between two intersections. This is a typical scenario where it would need to accelerate/ decelerate in reality. In TM this is not yet possible as you have outlined. For 6 seconds the camera is forced to travel at a consistent speed.
I've not used Lumion, but LumenRT handles this fairly well. This shows the 6 second duration between the two intersections and the software automatically applies an accelerate/ decelerate camera path.
As a bonus, you can control the shape of the acceleration/ deceleration curve in another UI within the movie editor. Something along these lines would really improve movie-making in TM!
