What to study to work with 3D software like UE5 or blender and sometimes programming?

Hi, I hope this is the right forum to post this question haha.
My name is Jan, I am 21 years old and I am currently studying computer science but lately I am unsure if it is really what I wanna continue doing. I am really interested in UE5 and everything you can do with it. I love the idea of creating something like a game that just looks amazing and that you can experiece. I started studying computer science because I thought it would give me a good foundation and very good chances for my future.
I enjoy coding but I get unmotivated by all the very difficult math I need to learn since math is not so much a strength of mine.
What career paths have you taken? What do you think I should do? What career paths are there suiting my interests?

Hi Jan! Unreal Engine has really many directions in 3D. In March 2020, there was an excellent article on the official website with the title Prepare for the jobs of tomorrow with a new field guide for creators.

In addition, the article contains a link to a PDF file Creator’s Field Guide to Emerging Careers in Interactive 3D.pdf in which the directions of professions in 3D are described in detail, which skills are necessary for them and at what level it is desirable to master them.

Very often people’s desires, habits and aspirations change. Try to do what you like because only in this case you will be able to achieve the highest result.
