I’m curious about the learning curve for Unreal Engine. There are so many areas to explore, from Blueprints and C++ to materials, lighting, animation, and level design.
For those who have been using Unreal for a while, which part took you the longest to understand, and what helped you get better at it?
Great question. As someone new to Unreal, the part that looks the most overwhelming to me is how many systems there are to learn at once, from Blueprints and materials to lighting and animation. It would help to hear which one you’d suggest starting with, and whether learning Blueprints first made the later topics easier for the experienced folks here.
