What mesh to use when exporting animation from Metahuman Performance editor?

I’m doing something wrong here. It worked before with 5.2 when I exported a performance as an animation sequence using the default setting in the export dialog. Then, I just added the animation to the Metahuman face in the level sequence. Worked great. Now, with 5.3.2, nothing, applying the animation to the face results in zero animation.

What did I miss? I’m totally doing something wrong, I’ve followed all the tutorials, but, I got zero.

Please help!

Went back to UE 5.2.1 - cannot get the animation I create in Metahuman Performance to work with a metahuman in the level sequencer.

Banging my head on my desk in frustration right now.
