Couple of questions about World Composer.
First, I’m using tiled import to build my world. Is there a way after importing to adjust the location coordinates? Everything I can see is readonly. I want to adjust the z-axis so that objects in my level there are the lowest point are at 0cm but currently they are at below 0cm.
Next, what is this yellow square in World Composer? This is different from the marquee selection tool and is persistent anytime the game isn’t being simulated. For testing purposes, I’m using the Advanced Vehicle Template to drive around and test my terrain. As soon as I drive across the line of the yellow box, my vehicle gets destroyed. Also starting the game outside of the yellow square destroys the vehicle at start. What is the square and how do I adjust it?
Hi jmricker -
I may be able to offer some guidance - but I’ll clarify that I am very new and learning too.
In regards to the yellow box - I believe it is the ‘World Bounds’. I was having the same issue with dying/ despawning - I have unticked ‘enable world bounds check’ and ticked ‘enable world origin rebasing’. Seems to me that ‘enable world origin rebasing’ did the trick on it’s own but I think there is an issue with multiplayer so you need to go into project settings and tick it there too under network settings.

In relation to adjusting the location coordinates - you can drag move the tiles in the World Composition editor, although I think you need to ‘load’ them to do that. I’d like to know how to adjust the scale of the tiles without having to reimport - anyone?
It seems you can ‘reset to defaults’ the scale but it only effects tiles within the world bounds and isn’t editable.
