Example
I’m using UE 5.4 and this weird shadows are in everything
The spheres don’t cast shadows, so, i don’t know what this things are or how to fix it.
Hey @FAHR!
Typically, when I see this it has to do with your AntiAliasing.
Go into your project settings and try a few different ones (Default settings, not mobile)
Hope this helps!
Hey, thank you for the response, i try them all and none of them work :s
Try switching to FXAA and disabling Lumen!
I see this issue all the time and is usually system-dependent, usually switching the Anti-Aliasing to non-Temporal and restarting the engine fixes it (make sure you restart after switching), but turning off Lumen alongside it I’ve not seen NOT work yet.
Maybe this gives you a better understanding of what’s going on, I’m completely lost
Try disabling any lights other than your main light in your scene, possibly? Depending on the settings of any post-process volumes this could affect it. There are a lot of workarounds for different use-cases and different setups, the keyword you’re looking for is “Ghosting.” Most places will suggest what you’ve already done, before going more into detail. Usually it’s about foliage but that’s because there are so many moving parts it’s REALLY obvious.
I don’t know what was the issue, i try it all, but i created a new map and the ghosting disappear in that map. I also remove everything from the previous map make it again and persisted. Maybe its a glitch or something, but thank you for your help!
It’s likely got something to do with your graphics card not being able to handle such detailed and large maps, because it’s a sign that you’re not rendering fast enough. But also make sure it’s not your post-process effect!
Wish you luck! Looks like you’ve got some work in already, keep it up!!
