What is this Glitch Epic Games? (Character violently twitching, default 3rd Person Template)

I noticed my character violently twitching whether it was using montages or not once the player camera is a certain distance away (based on the camera position) the characters start to glitch twitch violently. Depending on the animation that is currently playing it can be subtle or very bad. You can move back and forth until you notice the appropriate distance to trigger it and then you can stop at the perfect sweet spot to let it continue to bug out.

The last clip is from the default 3rd Person template.
(aside from moving the camera closer and slightly higher in the Z axis is the only change I made)
So, it’s not something I did or changed to cause so I know I didn’t cause it myself. I’m using Engine Version 5.3.

What is this bug and how do we fix it?

Unfortunately I don’t have a fix for this (involving the default 3rd person template character at least) but I did want to mention that this is something that I’ve seen on my end as well in version 5.3.2. so at least the issue isn’t something entirely unique you’re running into. I have no idea why the camera distance causes this character to twitch like this but that’s definitely a consistent cause for it.

I was able to get this to stop occurring by replacing the character with my custom rig, I know that’s unfortunately not a true solution to this issue but at least this issue seems to be contained to something within the default character/rig.

Thank you a bunch for posting this though! I was glad to learn that this was an extant issue and that it was something to do with the base character (I had attached a bunch of things to the rig and I thought the issue may have been something on that end, happy to learn it wasn’t).
