What is the required information and wording for our Privacy Policy with EOS login?

Hello,

My name is Tiaan Gerber, Director and Lead-Developer of Skermunkel and we are busy getting our first EGS release ready for release soon, however, we are having trouble getting our Brand Settings approved in Epic Account Services in order to get our in-game EOS login setup approved.

The Action Required error for our Brand Settings states the following reason for our Privacy Policy website:

“Website does not contain relevant product information”

I just wanted to check what information and wording we need to include in our Prvacy Policy in order to get our Brand Settings approved?

Please any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

If more information is required, please let me know.

Hi Tiaan - thank you for your continued patience. Here is an excerpt of the criteria followed when reviewing privacy policy compliance:

  • Your privacy policy demonstrates intent to use end user account information with respect and in a manner that complies with applicable law and Epic Games’ requirements.
    • You must have a public privacy policy
    • It must include contact info so customers can contact with you with privacy concerns
    • It must be descriptive in how data will be handled for customers
