What is the refund policy for assets generated with AI that aren't listed as having done so?

I’ve been looking around in the 2D assets category and personally have a preference of not using AI generated art. However, despite the EULA stating that it is required to disclose whether AI was used there are assets clearly made with AI that do no such thing. So as a breach of the EULA, if/when they are discovered to not be disclosing AI usage am I able to get a refund even if it’s past the 14 day period?

Generally, I just try to avoid it but sometimes they don’t use AI in the last step of the process so it can be hard to tell.

Hey there @Boomer64! I can’t speak to the refund policy, but I will say if you come across any items that are not tagged correctly as AI assets, you can report them on Fab under the details for violating the content agreement.

ii. Content Created With Generative AI Programs. Epic Marketplace policies require Content Licensors to tag Content with "CreatedWithAI" when it was created using Generative AI Programs. For this policy, Content is considered to be created using Generative AI Programs where a material portion of the Content is generated with Generative AI Programs, whether characters, backgrounds, or other material elements. Content is not considered to be created using Generative AI Programs merely for use of features that solely operate on the Content (e.g., content-aware fill) or that don't introduce material Generative AI elements into a work (e.g., AI based image upscaling). Content Licensor is solely responsible for complying with this requirement.

Hi @Boomer64 . If you discover that a product you have purchased was represented incorrectly on its listing page, we encourage you to contact our support team to request a refund.

And I suspect you know where the Refund Policy is, but I’m dropping the link here in case anyone stumbles upon this thread and isn’t aware: https://www.fab.com/refund-policy
