I’ve been goin back and forth with submissions to fab trying to disable the “unused plugins” in my uproject.
At first it seems I didn’t disable all of them.
I then saw a forum post that said to disable all the plugins that showed up when you opened the .uproject with notepad but apparently I had disabled critical engine plugins in the process, and received a list of plugins to disable in the PDF attached to mail I received after submitting.
I disabled all those plugins from that list I received from my submission feedback and submitted again but I got another email saying I disabled critical engine plugins again.
I’m kinda lost here and was wondering if there was a list or a way to disable the unused plugins, I have no idea what to disable and keep enable.
For your info, I’m trying to submit an asset pack and am not using any specific plugins.
Hello, if you got plugins name on the list, it mean you got plugins installed.
So, you have to disable plugins not just only edit .uproject
I personally use standard unreal version so I just have to uninstall from epic game launcher.
Make sure your project that you gonna submit have similar plugins enabled to the new fresh project.
Then at the end check in the .uproject file, usually we remove the plugin Modelling Tool something.
I removed ModelingToolsEditorMode and then had submitted but my submission got declined again, and in my feedback PDF received in the mail, this is the list of plugins I got given to disable
Definitely there is something wrong with Reviewer. Sellers were never forced to Disable all Plugins that were Enabled by Default on Engine by Epic Games Since a lot of them are used by Engine for Core Working hence it doesn’t impact Asset in anyway.
Only Plugin that are meant to disable are the one Shown Enabled in .uproject File in Notepad
I would recommend to escalate issue since Reviewer might be New Recruit and might Misunderstand Guideline about “Disable unused Plugins”
ye i agree, there something wrong with the reviewer, for my first plugin they only listed one plugin to disable and it was the Modelling Tool(that was in .uproject)
Weird, I did disable that same exact one and submitted again, but then they gave me that whole list to disable. I guess I will try submitting again with just the ModelingToolsEditorMode disabled.
True but as I mentioned in my first Post, Only Escalating will solve the matter since there is something wrong with the Reviewer. Have you escalated Issue over mail and explained situation there?
