So I’m making this game where I’m using the new Manny character and swapping out the mesh. I’m using one of the free scanned people on the marketplace and they are using the UE4 skeleton. I didn’t need to do anything other than swap the mesh out and aside for the arms being slightly further apart it seems fine.
Now I want to add other animations and pretty much all of the ones available are made for the UE4 Mannequin and wont work with Manny directly.
I wonder what is the best approach going forward so I don’t mess up and end up with tons of re targeted animations cluttering up the place.
I’ve tried to find any information about what the difference are between the mannequins and why they needed to create new ones that aren’t drop in replacements.
