What is the Best Way to Gain Professional Experience using UE?

Hello!

I'm currently a Game Programming and Development major with a few years of gameplay programming using UE under my belt. I've used both blueprints and C++ to create prototypes for school. Now that I'm almost finished with my degree and having to focus on my specialization, which is gameplay programming, I was wondering ways I can gain better knowledge of the UE interface on a professional level. Although I've become comfortable UE's layout, I feel like there is still more to learn.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. TIA!

either get a job at a studio or make your own game/project.

Hey @daffodil.meadows! Welcome to the Forums!

If you can, see if there are any internships to any studios you can apply for. That would be great experience that you can apply elsewhere.

If you are in England, my studio has a gov funded opportunity for you to gain skills and experience to bridge that gap: iRT3D Skills Bootcamps
