What is logic behind sinultaneous widget rendering?

I am trying to render multiple widgets on the screen and hoping to they all able to click able on same screen. I have inventory, character panel , menu etc. When I call inventory and char panel, I am struggling to make they both click able. Better do trying to do this system on UGM or c++? Zorder wasnt so helpful, always either one of them on the top but they both does not render at same level. I am just not able to open both widgets together with separete key bindings and able to click either of them simultaneously. Also for some reason I am able to click thru widgets, like I am able to click thru inventory widget to the world

At least for starters and quick adjustments, UMG is definitely the best choice. C++ is in case you’re lacking performance or functionality.

You need to adjust the visibility of widgets that overlap each other. The one on top should ignore hits.
This applies to “invisible” widgets (overlay, canvas, etc.)
