I’m trying to open City Sample Buildings. I’m getting “IV-CMD-DREQ”. What does this mean?

Thank you for posting to the community, and welcome.
This error can appear from a couple of things.
One avenue to check is if you have the appropriate engine version installed.
Another possible reason could be due to the end user not using a compatible platform.
A few of the Epic samples are Windows only.
I hope this information addresses your concern.

It doesn’t for me unfortunately.
I get the same error while trying to open a metahuman project, despite having the most recent engine version and metahuman is supposed to run on OSX!
Can you help?
EDIT: Oh and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling engine and metahuman several times with no difference.

Same here OSX latest monterey 12.4 - M1 max - 32gb ram- No Metahuman projects, error every time IV-CMD-DREQ . same issue with 5.0.2 and 5.0.3. fresh installation, no further plugins. BTW, no firewall for downloads

me too, i have ue 5.0.3 and it seems that metahuman project requires 4.27 or 5.
Im trying installing 4.27. I’ll let you know if it works

OMG … it works on 4.27.2!! Worth of waiting if you have iMac 2019-2020. I press play. Wow. it works great. Great Speed. no lagging. no choppy frames.

Having this issue with M1 Ventura 13.1 UE 5. Any fixes? Trying to install architecture from the marketplace.
i cant download car configurator sample on 5.1.1, does need 5.1.0?
