What is going on with UE's mesh importer?

I’m importing from Blender. .obj, .fbox doesn’t matter. Size is set and reset in Blender. UE doesn’t respect it. Centre of mesh/pivot point is set in Blender. UE importer doesn’t respect it. On some meshes it doesn’t respect the normals, which I’ve reset before exporting. Shocking experience. What is going on with this importer? This is my first time importing my own meshes, am I missing something obvious?

From my own experiences, Blender and Unreal tend to conflict with each other quite a bit. An initial step would be to reset export/import settings in both programs. After that, please follow the method below, I had got results with it:
