When I start my editor I have a 50% chance it will run without error or Force my pc to reboot. Sometimes it takes less then a minute sometimes it takes 30 mins almost never more.If it runs for over 30 mins it will go until I close the project and open a new one. I have been testing this issue since the day 4.1 came out. What changed? I have recently tried the 4.1.1 update and it is the same. what can I do… it is not really fun now.
That means you getting BSOD, but newer windows auto restart on BSOD by default
Right click Computer in Start Menu → Propeties → Advance System Settings → Start Up and Recovery → Uncheck “Automaticly Restart”
Those are Windows 7 instructions but in Win8 it should be similar. Now you should see BSOD insted of resart, write down all info that is there or make a photo and post it here
Great advice… I did find my issue… Was hardware and video related, I finally cracked open my pc and watched it… Video card fan would just stop and not come back on… swaped it out with a new one and no issues since… but great tip on the auto restart.
I found the answer for my problem! I have tried to update my graphics drivers a while ago but I just randomly quit it while it was installing. Now I downloaded the latest graphics drivers and everything works fine!
