What is about the Intel Arc GPUs as a dual setup for ue5 editing?

Hello there folks. As you guys can see it in the topic, I wonder about the capability that the arc has for ue5 editing. I know, its mostlydesigned for gaming, but I want to have a rig that is optimized for a lot of stuff like music creation, ue5 editing, photoshop, and so on. Since the Arc has the focus to be better than AMD GPUs and continues support with the drivers I was thinking about a Dual GPU Rig with the Intel Arc A 770 in order to archive great performance. But this still doesn’t answert my question about the capability with ue5 editing. So I want to ask you guys what do you know about it and if its really worth it to use it as a dual GPU Rig

I believe they’re trying to compete with the green guys, too. Besides that, there are no bad GPUs, only bad prices (yes, I am talking about you 4060 8GB).

No. UE5 can use only 1 GPU at a time.

Intel Arc A 770

They’re struggling with driver support:

The regression is real…

Actually, UE5 can use multiple GPUs becuase of the virtual production request side.

You can find info on the roadmap here

Not sure how it works or if it’s not possible with game related stuff.

Yeah, cool. But I don’t think we’re there yet. Not in the way OP thinks - the post makes little sense to start with:

I wonder about the capability that the arc has for ue5 editing

What does it even mean? Editing what? :innocent:

Curious to see how can this Multi-Process Inner Frustum be used, though.

I ment with that of how the performance is and how beneficial it is developing ue5 with the arc. besides that, a lot of time has passed and I wonder how it performs now
